The launch of the Putney High School Archives is a tremendous moment; it serves as a record, preserving school activities and history. Delve into the archives to search family history, reminisce about your time here, trace local history and find out more about the school’s place in the wider Putney community.
Currently the project, which will continue until all records are archived, displays a selection of magazines and photographs from 1896 to 2017. We are building a lasting legacy for students, past, present and future. We hope that by digitising the records, we will make the school archives more accessible for all to enjoy.
The archives are kept in the School Library and copies of the digitised material can be requested following identification. Please send enquiries to the Librarian and Archivist, Geraldine Dyos, at g.dyos@put.gdst.net with as much background information as possible. Research enquiries are answered as promptly as possible.
We would like to thank all the donors that made this project possible, especially Putney High School Old Girls’ Association.
